The name of this outstanding Slate is Slatinia. Slatinia Slate is quarried by (Rococo-Setimar / Sayao Brazil) located in Minas Gerais State, in Brazil. Today, most Slatinia Slate is sold in the United Kingdom and other European countries. This is because of the porosity and its durability that Europe demand's because of the damp weather in the autumn & winter months. Slatinia Slate is identical to the old English quarries of old for its character and natural clefts like the old Cheshire cottages and buildings in England. This is what architects are looking for, an original Slate that stands alone as one of the most outstanding slates today. Careful Packing and Shipping

Care is taken during packing and loading of Tiles to insure minimum damage during shipment.  1cm thick tiles are packed in Styrofoam boxes and loaded into wooden crates.  2cm thick tiles are  loaded directly in the crates with foam sheets up and down and around inside the crate and banded for extra security.
